Each site is charged at the rate for the volume band it occupies. The current band rates are shown in the calculator above, so you can see your exact total before continuing.
Do smaller plans get fewer features?+
No. Every self-service plan includes the current CheckControl feature set. The price changes only with the number of active sites.
How does the free trial work?+
Stripe collects your payment method. Nothing is charged today and there is no setup fee. Subscription billing starts after the 14-day trial unless you cancel beforehand. Monthly plans renew monthly; annual plans are charged in full for the year. See our cancellation and refund terms.
Can I add more staff without paying more?+
Yes. Staff users and checks are unlimited across the sites covered by your subscription.
Is there a long contract or notice period?+
Self-service monthly plans renew monthly and annual plans renew annually. Cancel before the next renewal to prevent the next billing period. Any separately agreed Enterprise terms will be shown in writing before activation.
What happens if our site count changes?+
Open Settings → Subscription in your manager workspace to change your plan or site allowance. Stripe shows the price before you confirm. Your existing team, checks and records stay with your organisation.
Can we export our data if we cancel?+
Managers can export daily and monthly operational records and individual issue reports. Contact support before access ends if you need help with an assisted export or a verified deletion request.
Is all data held only in the UK?+
CheckControl takes a UK-first approach, but does not currently claim that every supplier and processing activity is exclusively UK-resident. Hosting, subprocessors and any transfer safeguards will be confirmed during procurement.
Do you provide a Data Processing Agreement?+
A production DPA and complete subprocessor schedule are being finalised. The data-processing terms and customer retention instructions must be agreed before production onboarding; contact us to arrange them.
How are live offers and discount codes applied?+
When a public offer is active, every plan shows the normal price, your reduced first payment and the renewal price. The code is carried into checkout automatically, where Stripe confirms the final amount again.
What if we operate more than 24 sites?+
