ANIMAL SERVICES CHECKLIST SOFTWARE

Premises routines for animal-service teams.

Groomers, boarding teams and veterinary premises have recurring room, cleaning and equipment work. These operational examples organise the team’s record alongside the approved animal welfare, licensing and clinical systems.

01

Keep premises work within its scope

Name the room, task and approved method. General completion records should not make a veterinary, welfare or treatment decision. Use the specialist records and qualified people appointed for those purposes.

02

Explain an access or cleaning exception

If an area cannot be accessed or a task cannot be completed as planned, record the actual reason and person informed. The next action should follow the organisation’s approved animal-handling and cleaning procedures.

03

Give equipment findings a clear owner

Record the asset or station reference and the observed condition without diagnosing a technical cause. Follow the restriction and escalation process, then keep the authorised assessment beside the original report.

A clearer record from one shift to the next.

Start with a routine your team already uses. Agree the assignment and due time, then practise recording a finding and reviewing it with a manager.
