01

Use locations the team recognises

Name the sales floor, service station, accessible route and shared facilities rather than asking whether the entire business is ready. Clear locations make a finding easier to assign and review.

02

Separate routine completion from equipment availability

A completed walkround can contain a defect. Preserve the original answer, record the immediate response and give the follow-up to the person authorised to assess the item. A pass count alone does not explain availability.

03

Review interruptions before adding questions

Opening work can be interrupted by deliveries or early customers. Record exceptions honestly and review their pattern. Adjust the due window and assignment before turning one long checklist into another.

A clearer record from one shift to the next.

Start with a routine your team already uses. Agree the assignment and due time, then practise recording a finding and reviewing it with a manager.
